Disaster Alert is a free mobile app for public use that provides the global community with critical hazard alerts and information needed to stay safe anywhere in the world.
Built on PDC’s DisasterAWARE®️ platform, Disaster Alert™️ offers near real-time updates about 18 different types of natural hazards as they are unfolding around the globe. With Disaster Alert, you can customize early warning alerts, view estimated impact reports, and access visualized modeled hazard data.
Disaster Alert’s continuous stream of new information is automatically generated from the most reliable, scientifically verified sources.

What Our Users Say
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about our Android app.
"Almost perfect as an app, developers should pay extra attention in 2 areas: 1) The Push Notification section which needs to be fixed because as long as you exit the app it doesn't notify you about anything! Similar apps once you choose to receive notifications the system works for life & doesn't stop unless you untick the field box. 2) Registration and logging via Google cause it gives you the privilege of keeping the same preferences in different devices such as Mobile&Tablet at the same time!"
Konstantinos Xirogiannis
"It's a good idea. But I ran into nothing but issues. The filters don't work right. Showing the whole world instead of my area. Wont let me change utc to PT. The type of incidents won't filter into type or area. Id like to see both by type and local area. I really dont care what's happening in India or Louisiana when I live in Oregon and want to know if we have fire or Tsunami alerts or warnings. Since I live outside a tiny town. Our local systems are pretty bad and wanted a better warning"

"I've only had this app on my phone a couple of months, but I've been aware of tornados and storms before others in family since using it."

"Wellington is on a fault and the harbour could produce a quake, we had a rescent quake and the alarm went of and the Quake struck. This app could save lives, so I think it's essential."
